About:	Star Patrol was a sci-fi gimmick band that performed "electronic punk music" under the conceit that the members were video game characters who had been warped into the real world by their enemy, the evil space wizard Rovad. Decked out in silver space suits, the band used analog synths, playing along with drum tracks programmed into the Playstation game "MTV Music Generator."
