With our EP in a Weekend series, we bring together between two and four Indiana musicians who have never worked together and ask them to write and record an EP over the course of one weekend. As you might expect, all kinds of challenges can come with this process. But at the same time, it also often leads to really rad results too.

For our latest EP, we brought together the incredible talents of Caleb McCoach, Sir Deja Doog and Vess Ruhtenberg (United States Three, The Pieces, The Last IV) and asked them to make some songs together. All with unique songwriting styles of their own, the three quickly got to work, creating something undoubtedly special.

Due to the magnitude of his collaboration, we asked Kurt Nettleton to take some video footage of Caleb, Doog and Vess during the EP-making process. Check out both parts of that footage below, and be on the look out for the EP this Friday on our archive.
