This band started with a lie and a theft. Yuri met Mytch through a mutual friend. Called him up one day and says "Hey, do you want to play music sometime?. So Mytch says, "Yeah, sure. This is Yuri right?". "Yeah. How about tonight? I have a show book at the Mutiny for a deportation party and no band." They then lied and told everyone they had played together since we were 13 and proceeded to make up a set. It was fun and loud.

Then Yuri got his guitar got stolen at a studio was given some free recording time in return. He again call up Mytch. Asks if he wanted to record that day. They then made stuff up for two days. Did that again once more. Had a record. Tweaked and collaged a viola, mama mia! ZiPS!
