Born and raised in the small southern Indiana town of Salem. After four years of military service in the U.S. Navy following high school, Vincent moved to Bloomington, Indiana where he studied philosophy and began writing/performing folk songs in bars and basements as 'Vince[nt]'. This also included a multimedia song narrative performance titled 'Farnsworthia Fare' in the fall of 2006. Started a group called 'The Petty Officers' and later co-opted the formation of the group 'Uno Moss' with Peter King. Co-founder of Bloomington's infamous 'Minstrel Cycle', a group of song-writers meeting more than once a month to share songs under a tree in a predesignated park location. His first album 'Farthest Eyeball Popper' was recorded at 'The Dreamachine' in the summer of 2009. [Most songs written by vincent levandovsky. Most songs recorded at the Dreamachine on a Yamaha MT8X.
