About:
Tonos Triad formed in fall of 2006 with the intent of creating a look and sound that could fit into places like the Wheeler Art Community or the Murphy Building in Fountain Square. This was achieved through a small foot print (just three guys) an array of interesting instruments - accordion, suit case drum kit, upright bass, classical guitar, melodica, glockenspiel - and a sound that combines many influences and varying levels of complexity into accessible, fun songs. Since 2006, Tonos has released two EPs and two full-length albums, the latter of which was recorded in Queensize Studios. They have also performed in venues ranging from the Hilbert Circle Theater to the Melody Inn, and have enjoyed a fair amount of success, and a busy performance schedule.
