This would of course come after a long sustained musical success due to the public's openness to feedback-driven, dark and etherial pop. Perhaps unjustly, this world does not exist and Thunders remain, for the time being, alive and unaffected by drug-addict-superstar-douchebaggery. In this real world, the Indianapolis, Indiana-based group will release their debut EP on A-Squared Industries in February, 08 – revealing an uncanny knack for splicing garage-rock grit with the more wistful and feedback-laden elements of The Velvet Underground’s ‘White Light/White Heat’. The Sympathetic Oscillations EP, Thunders debut recording, is an exercise in dark, Midwestern pop. Members of Thunders have previously formed such notable bands as Ari Ari and America Owns The Moon. Their new incarnation seems to effortlessly produce an authentic, eager propulsion of sound – channeled through the howling electric lead work and vocals of Ryan Reidy. Originally recorded at six different houses in three different cities by Reidy himself, the noise and experimentations of Sympathetic Oscillations exist alongside insanely catchy choruses, programmed and live percussion and Reidy's enrapturing high-pitched vocals. Fans of The Velvet Underground, Nirvana, T-Rex, or The Stooges will not be disappointed.

I don't know why that doesn't show up with my comment.
Cheers.
