(the) SNOT RAGS were started in February 2009 when Christopher Charles set up a show in Bloomington, IN for a band he hadn’t yet put together. He snagged Fithers of Sriracha Shits who brought his drummer friend Brian from the pizza joint he worked at delivering pies. They hammered out the songs the day of and played their first show on Fithers’ 23rd birthday.

Mikey Hodges, the leader of Sriracha Shits, later replaced Brian on drums and the boys spent early/mid 2009 chewing out bubblegum riffs around central Indiana. Currently on hiatus as Fithers and Mikey now live in NYC. Christopher shoud probs move there too.
