About:

The Scraps (Bloomington, current) formed in early 2007. A fire destroyed all their equipment shortly thereafter and Chama's hand was smashed in a machine press shortly after that. Ever perserverant and tenacious, they continue(d) to write socially conscious punk rock. The Scraps have contributed music to the local Bloomington Roller Derby league and released their first album "The Sacred Right of Property" in 2008. Mike Emmett, Chama Henry and Chris Abert  have performed throughout southern Indiana and hope to record another collection of songs in the future.

The Scraps had a 3 song demo reviewed by Beer Can Records. It wasn't a rave review but fuck it!... We'll take any press we can get.
