About:	Super Minotaur spawned overnight in late 2011. Shane Gettig & Adam Shead recorded a two track demo and sent it around, drawing the attention from a new Chicago label called Cold Slice Cassettes. In March of 2012 they released their s/t debut, headlining the Empty Bottle for their release show. Throughout the year played in various basements, lofts, and bars around the city of Chicago and were one of eight Indiana bands to be accepted to showcase SXSW 2013. (They didn't go though) On 4/20/13 they released a new EP on their own cassette label Mind Fortress. It was recorded in South Bend, IN by Chris Behre.
