| About: | Saababanks was formed in 2000 in Muncie, Indiana by guitarist Eric Johnson (Brazil. Pete's Eye), bassist Mike Lewellen(Altered Crypt, Blue Yak, Dagueissinge) and drummer Ryan Croke(Dagueissinge). After a few months of songwriting the band cut a demo at Electric Audio with Steve Albini at the helm. Shortly afterward Ryan Croke left the band and was replaced with current drummer Brand Smith(Facial Dump, Black Panel Van, Bunny Wabbit, Lil Jimi Nugent). Brand's recording studio in Markleville, Indiana became the band's new headquarters and the origin of all their subsequent demos and albums. Later added 2nd guitarist Aaron Smith(Brazil) who left in 2012 and was replaced by Brian Turner (The Ottoman Society, Facial Dump). |
