 2012,

Rugged Russian Bear presents The "Brown" E.P. The follow up to last years "Red E.P.". Recorded over the course of the summer and fall of 2012, this is Rugged Russian Bears first attempt at recording an E.P. without any outside help. The E.P. was recorded and mixed all at Mike Brewers home studio in Irvington on Indy's Eastside.

This E.P. represents an evolution in not only in Rugged Russian Bears lineup, but also of their attitude. After losing a bass player early in the winter of 2012, with Cory Miller putting down guitar, and picking up bass afterwards, Rugged Russian Bear set off with a no holds barred attitude focusing on just making good music, and not worrying about all the other stuff. It is not only an attempt to lay down some really solid music, but also to try and let the three familiarize themselves with the process of recording themselves. They have set a goal to produce their first full length album starting this winter.

This E.P.is not perfect. It is raw. It is Lo-Fi. It is Unmastered. And It Is Awesome!
