About:Built and destroyed in one day- November 10th 2007- the Osis myth is based on a mere 8 tracks, 2 reels of tape, adding up to less than 40 minutes of mind blowing sound.

Fortunately the band was wise enough to schedule a photo session before heading into the studio to record their magnum opus- "Mount Osis".
The original members, Jorgen (Jorgeous) Jorgensen (vocals, bass- bottom right), Swain ("Lil' Miss) Sweetly (guitar- top right), Dale (Hot "D") Douglass (drums- top left) and Jefferson (All Jay Long) Jackson (guitar, bass and production- bottom left) met via a Craig's List ad posted by Jorgen soliticing "Eno-infused Hair Metal enthusiasts", an obscure genre to be sure. Joining the original 4 members of Osis was Jacob (Jack) Gobber (bass, guitar- not pictured) who sat in on the session laying down some smokin' bass lines and guitar licks.
In the end it was the usual stuff that brought down the band- women, drugs, the "man" and custody disputes over the band's pet cat "Meowsis". The members have remained mostly on friendly terms, a reunion session has been floated but "Jorgeous" Jorgensen's heavy touring schedule with his main band Small Monkey has keep the project on hold. Maybe 2010 will bring the next act in the Osis saga?
