From the depths of the Bloomington Indiana underground to the top soil of Lowell Indiana's fertile bed of corn at the Little Montana Compound comes The Olympic Hopefuls. The Olympic Hopefuls are made up of equal parts Jason Powell and Greg Llewellyn who trade off on lead vocals and equally share music composing and songwriting duties. The band started out in Bloomington and then moved to Lowell and although still together, Greg resides in Lowell and Jason lives in Tennessee trading recordings in the mail for future Olympic Hopefuls albums. Greg records as FM Fiction and is in the band Muzzleloader and Jason records as Hello Cowboy and also under the name Jim Canyon. Jason and Greg also run the Little Montana Records grassroots record label out of Lowell, Indiana. The Olympic Hopefuls find the two in a more stripped down setting to tell tales and strum you a tune. Pull up a chair!
