About:
Old Pike was a five-man rock & roll band from Bloomington, IN, heavily influenced by Bruce Springsteen (most obviously apparent in frontman Tim Jones phrasing and stage presence), fellow Hoosier John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Nick Drake, and Jeff Buckley. • Old Pike is one of my top favorite bands and largest influences. The heart felt lyrics over powerful, soulful music gives an ambiance that most bands strive for but never reach. This album is consistent from I Should Never Have Left to Millionaires Servant. 100% rock, 100% love.
