Bloomington, IN. Nathaniel Seer began his musical career as a child singing with his father in an inner city gospel choir. He went on to study classical violin for many years before giving it up in favor of writing. By uprooting the mixed genre of fractured or anti-folk and reworking it to fit his vision, our Seer has found a voice the likes of Iron & Wine and Leonard Cohen. At once literate and familiar, Seer's music is of a mind to stay with you without explanation.
