Marc Gullion and Nathan Striedinger formerly of hometown heroes Grissel hit the road for the Windy City and didn’t look back for nearly a decade. There involved in many side projects decided that it was time to pack their bags and head back to the Hoosier state. Back home in the Crossroads of America they ran into Shaun Coburn formerly heading up the Hell King Trio, who brought his rockabilly swing and fused it with a heavy hitting punk sound. Upon first meeting, an instant connection sparked an urgency to complete the package. In walks Mike Lindsey with his upright bass and we have a crazy little thing and a big sound called MG and the Gas City Three. Let’s not forget ole Clem Jenkins who upon first hearing their radioactive sound, quickly signed the boys to create their full length EP for Gas City Records, “Get In, Shut Up and Hold On.”
