Indianapolis, 1990s through 2006 and 2010-
The band began as an electronic duo composed of Derek Osgood and Gwynneth Hermann (now Gwynneth Reitz). With the addition of Jonathan Harmon (guitar) and Drew Reed (drums) in their 3rd year, Lunar Event expanded their sound immensely, with deeper textures and sonic variation. What started as a guy/girl electro pop band, ended as a full four piece rock band.
On February 11th, 2006, Gwynneth Reitz performed her last show with the band. Osgood, Harmon and Reed went into Indianapolis' Queensize Studios to record four new tracks. Mike Shimmercore (bass/keyboards) was added to solidify Lunar Event's lineup. The current members have decided to change the name sighting new musical directions and are now called Red Light Driver. Gwynneth Reitz went on to perform in the now-defunct shoegaze band, Svetlana, and is currently the singer and keyboardist for another shoegaze/dream pop/indie rock band, Yuki.

2002, Scarab Records
