Lunar Event played their first show in their hometown of Indianapolis in October of 2000. The band was started by Derek Osgood with Gwynneth Reitz joining soon thereafter. They got signed to record labels, recorded EPs and full-lengths, added and subtracted members, and toured for over six years.
