3/4 art school band that combined the all out bashing of don cab with the multi-instrumentation of Smart Went Crazy piled atop of harmonics a la Long Fin Killie. originally they were supposed to have a dj too, but decided that a cello would be the right fit. akin to the late mid-90's ohio river valley state indie sounds, the band pulled influence from chicago and louisville while trying to totally disregard bloomington as anything other than a place to play out of dedication to the city of indianapolis.

even with the expertise of combining the loud/quiet influence of 90's modern rock with the layerability of multi-instrumentation, the band recorded only a handful of times for fear of distracting potential listeners from the live show. wether on the stage or in a basement, their sets could either be calculated expressions of work focused song writing or be fun messes of blast beats a purposeful dissonance.

throughout their time together there was an understood acceptance of being a "bands" band, the kind of outfit the players would enjoy but the crowd might just toss aside for the overpaid headliner.

given their youth the members slowly drifted to graduate schools and other projects. guitarist/singer matt akren and drummer ben traub are still playing together in Rooms, as their collaborative relationship has continued to this day.

a few singles no one picked up, a full length recorded in ben's apartment that was mixed three time and mastered twice... nothing much else than a few photos, memories, and scratched cds.
