2012,

After 4 years of performing, touring, being a member in other bands, and studying music in other forms, Kate returned to the studio to record her 4th full length album with Tyler Watkins (Margot and the Nuclear So & So's) at Queensize Studios in Indianapolis, IN. She was joined by a plethora of talented musicians to create her most collaborative effort yet: Aaron Vincel on drums, Pat Burnell on bass, Dave Black on guitars, Andrew Elliot playing cello, Erik Kang on violin, and Alex Kercheval giving some pedal steel love. 

Going back to her roots of folk music, the album ditches the pop production found on Instant Clarification allowing for sounds more reminiscent of folky americana alt pop rock.
