Hero Jr. is a three piece rock group based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Since the release of their self titled EP in June 2010, Hero Jr. has brought their brand of high energy, hook driven rock to Indy’s best venues for original music. With their ever expanding repertoire of material, Hero Jr. is excitedly sharing stages with local and national touring acts throughout the Midwest Region. Brothers Evan and Matthew Haughey, formerly of the Michigan based, MCA recording band “Ether” are back together again as Hero Jr. With “Ether” the brothers performed at prestigious venues across the country such as House of Blues – Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Double Door, The Cubby Bear, and Empty Bottle in Chicago and the world famous CBGB’s in New York City. In 2006 Evan and New York based Jazz/Funk/Fusion drummer and bassist Dave DuBrava formed the band “Shogun Attractions” and the writing collaborative “Prospector.”  With the caste of Evan, Matthew and Dave the band Hero Jr. was formed and forges on with exciting new material and opportunities. In May of 2010 Hero Jr. recorded their first EP with legendary Producer/Engineer Paul Mahern at Farm Fresh Studios in Bloomington. Armed with the new eight song EP, Hero Jr. is taking to the road throughout the Midwest and preparing their return to the studio for the release of their first full length LP in 2012.
