About:	The Heavy is project of different members of Mid-West Indiana's burgeoning Stoner/ Doom scene. The idea was to produce a more groove oriented psychedelic band as opposed to the more sludge driven sounds of the respective genres. The music is intentionally laden with a psychedelic blues driven rock sound in hopes to respect our influences and forge our own style. The Heavy are planning on releasing their first EP in Late Summer of 09, titled "The Heavy (please tune in)". If hopping on a space caravan while trekking across the desert sounds like a good time...we hope to not disappoint. Hopefully it is good as it is...please tune in.
