Hart Kingsbery spent his early years in Kent, WA, Missouri, and L.A. before coming to Seattle. He's a multi-instrumentalist with good grip on storytelling in songwriting. Eric moved to Seattle in 2002, taking a job at the University of Washington, where one day in 2005, he spotted a flier in the Art Building in which Hart and his good friend Spencer (drums) were looking for a bass player steeped in the best aspects of British Invasion, R&B, Soul, and Pop...They met at a bar, got tanked, and cemented an energetic three-piece that played regularly at an East Side bar called the Workshop in Redmond. Michael played in a bar-rock band called Auburn, with whom they shared the bill with there. Liking Hart's songs and stage-presence, Michael approached the band offering to play after Spencer bade goodbye. Michael has a long history in Seattle rock bands such as T.K.O. and Maurice & the Cliches and his addition helped propel the band into better shows around Seattle. After about 9 months, they met Ben, (at the suggestion of Seattle band the Levitations, comprised of mutual friends), who came to Seattle via Eugene, OR. He brought a strong sense of sonic icing to the band, using Rhodes, Hammond, and piano. Ben was phasing-out of his work with The Honeyhush and after a few sit-ins, the band had settled on it's then present incarnation.
