Evansville, IN. Early to Mid 1980s. DoggLethurAxxe was started by Jon Curtis, Gregg Hale, Scot Mangold and Doug Shawhan. Jon was a member of Stop The Car before joining. Gregg had played in another band at the AlhambraTheater beforehand. Mangold and Shawhan couldn't even play their instruments. Surprize. Put out several cassettes, only one of which: ColorUsFamous, survives today. We liked it. Dogg was known for it's ability to clear a room. Even a room of it's fans (Usually whoever they were dating at the time...) This is not nearly as cool in retrospect.
