About: | Deep Cricket Night is a four cornered, pearly moonlight serenade unfurled headlong into dawn with Beggar’s Banquet in your ride, Townes Van Zandt at your side, and an original melodic moan comprised of Lance Drake (gtr/vocals), Joey Werner (drums/percussion/ vocals), Heather Scott (violin/ vocals), Jaime Delgadillo (lead guitar/dobo), Greg MacAyeal (bass), and Seaghan Brien (drums). Musically, they build their unique electric-acoustic sound with an instrumentation highlighted by the melodic violin of Heather Scott, lead guitar playing of Jaime Delgadillo, bassist Greg MacAyeal, multi-rhythmic percussion of Joey Werner, and the lead vocal-lyrical strength of the band's primary songwriter, Lance Drake. Deep Cricket Night mixes indie rock, alt country, dark folk, and Americana into a cohesive style all their own. Records Released: Self Titled (August 2006)- 4 tracks were recorded at Queensize by Tony Whitlock Honeymoon Tattoo EP (Sept 2007) Before Morning (Oct 2008) Swimming Heart (July 2016)

2007, Deep Cricket Night Music & Film,
First forray into more of an Ohms Law/ indie rock sound, mixed in with our first album's stripped down vibe.
2006, Deep Cricket Night Music,
the original gang of 4. The stripped down folk-rock vibe.
Stumble here is the demo I made of the song in my home studio, pre presenting it to the band, late summer 2004.
Lake Pontchartrain was recorded live at Martyr's, sometime in spring 2005. I originally wrote this song right before PJ moved to New Orleans and performed it there for the very first time solo in 2001 or 2002..?
Someone Elses's Skin was a staple in the early sets of the original line up. This demo was recorded in fall 2004.
