Formed 1992 in Bloomington IN by Aaron Poehler, Carla (Disney) Poehler, and Jeff Chandler, with a succession of drummers. Notorious around Bloomington for their ubiquitous flyering and zines as much as for their music, Daisy Glaze played most often at the Bluebird and Second Story 1993-1995. After Chandler?s departure in 1996, Daisy Glaze shifted to a mostly acoustic format, interspersed with occasional later short-lived electric lineups with a number of different members. The band largely withdrew from live performance, but taped over 40 episodes of a public access TV show called Daisy Glaze Nation for Bloomington?s BCAT/CATS cable access station. Daisy Glaze dissolved permanently in mid-2001 with the end of the marriage between band members Aaron Poehler and Carla Disney. Aaron Poehler currently lives in San Diego.
