Well, this album turns 10 between x-mas and NYE this year.
It was a pretty amazing 10 years really. I don’t even have the semblance of a family now, but no mind, I have Love.
As I listened back to this I realized that this whole EP is love.
About love. Loving. Loving to play. Trusting your friends & acquaintances to capture your dreams as you would like them.
They did even better, they captured magic. This is music by 3 musicians who actually really do care and love and admire each other. I think we knew it would be good (Jeb knew!) but the experience was really the once in a lifetime kind.
God we love music.
And we’re re not afraid to show it. And we love and we forgive & we grieve. LonPaul’s death was a couple years before this. He died in the same room. We didn’t talk about it. But there was genius missing, haunting (at least me for sure). I felt like I could get away with stealing cause LP wasn’t here. But he really was there, in that we had all learned from him.
Kenny and Casey- we did it!
This is the best album I feel I’ve ever been apart of.
